The Problem That Started It All
Picture this: You find the perfect cocktail recipe online. Your guests love it. But the recipe serves one person, and you’re hosting 20.
What do you do?
Most people wing the math, leading to weak drinks, wasted expensive liquor, or worse—running out of key ingredients mid-party. We’ve all been there, frantically trying to calculate ounces to cups while guests wait.
There had to be a better way.
What Makes MixMath Different
We didn’t want to build another recipe database app. The App Store has plenty of those. Instead, we focused on one thing that nobody else was doing well: the math.
Smart Unit Conversion
MixMath automatically converts between ounces, milliliters, cups, tablespoons, and teaspoons. Scale a recipe for 20 people, and 2 oz of bourbon becomes 2.5 cups—exactly what you need to know for practical measuring.
Non-Linear Scaling Intelligence
Not everything scales linearly. A “dash” of bitters for 1 person doesn’t become 20 dashes for 20 people. MixMath understands these nuances and adjusts accordingly.
Built-in Recipe Library
We’ve included 150+ classic cocktail recipes with perfect ratios. From Old Fashioneds to Mojitos, these recipes have been scaled and tested at real parties to ensure they work perfectly.
Custom Recipe Support
Love that signature cocktail your bartender friend taught you? Save it in MixMath and scale it for any occasion. Your custom recipes get stored in the cloud, so they are never lost.
